Tommy Carr

Tommy Carr

Tommy is an occupational therapist with over 10 years experience working for the NHS, as such he is fully DBS checked and registered with the HCPC. He also holds an emergency first aid certificate and public and professional liability insurance. 

Tommy has been practicing meditation for over 20 years and since 2010 he has been co-facilitating mindfulness courses in the NHS. Tommy is also currently undertaking a Masters Degree in teaching mindfulness based courses at Bangor University.

Callie Hammond

Callie works in a social services occupational therapy team and is also studying part time to qualify as an occupational therapist. She has worked in reablement and with older people in social services. 

Callie is also part of the Back to Roots team (https://backtoroots.community/) and her main interests lie in working with people with chronic pain and using both movement and nature as modalities to support wellbeing. In terms of nature connection Callie loves the great outdoors - whether walking, climbing, or foraging for wild mushrooms. Callie joined Mindful Walks in 2022.
